Steps2Grow

At UNE we offer two Units of Study to count towards a degree.  We call it the Steps2Grow Program because we use the award winning 100 Steps2Startup Program developed by Entrepreneur and Professor Sean Wise who has helped to launch literally thousands of business ideas. 

Whether you want to build an idea into a business or you want to learn the methods for bringing to market new products or services, UNE offers two units which will take you through the whole startup process to help you build for success.

  • Anyone who want to learn alongside other students in a step by step process to put ideas to the test and build skills at the same time.

  • It doesn’t matter what course or degree you are enrolled in at UNE or another University, these Units will give you practical, hands on experience of business creation. You will have the opportunity to meet other founders building business in the New England North West and attend networking events.

    The two units are called:

    BUS199: Startup Development takes you from idea to a Minimal Viable Product and all the steps in between!

    BUS299: Startup Activation steps you through the process of building the business and looking for investment.

  • These two units are covered under students’ preferred payment option, through the Commonwealth Support Places
