Join us on Friday, 21 November at the Wright Centre, UNE Armidale, for National Ag Day 2025. This year’s theme, Stand with the Land, will bring together farmers, researchers, and business leaders to explore how agriculture responds to a shifting global landscape.
From climate change and conflict to supply chain pressures and food security, the day will feature thought-provoking conversations and a panel of industry leaders, from academics to international food companies. We’ll unpack how Natural Capital, supply chains, and global markets are shaping choices from the farm gate to the dinner plate.
The program also sees the return of the popular Wild Ideas panel, where experts present fresh solutions to emerging challenges in agriculture.
What to expect:
You’ll hear from people shaping change in farming and across the industry, and you’ll leave with ideas you can actually use. But the real gold? It’s likely to be in those in-between conversations over coffee and lunch - because sometimes the best takeaway isn’t from the stage, it’s from the person sitting next to you.
Straight talk: Real stories, not just slides.
Fresh perspective: A diverse panel that walks the talk.
A shared table: Good food that reflects the sentiment of the day.
New connections: Be in the room with people who might just spark your next big move.
Event schedule:
