During his presentation, Andrew McCallum, who is the Manager of Membership and Community Engagement at auDA, will explain the importance of the Domain Name System (DNS) in ensuring the internet operates smoothly.

He will also describe how auDA's compliance function collaborates with Australian businesses to ensure their websites remain secure and accessible. Furthermore, he will provide practical examples of how business websites can become compromised.

Drawing on recent consumer research, the presentation will also outline consumer expectations towards online purchasing and the barriers facing greater online engagement.

Lastly, the presentation will conclude with an outline of practical tools and resources that Australian business owners can use to enhance and secure their online presence.

Andrew McCallum is the Manager of Membership and Community Engagement at auDA. In that role he is responsible for administering auDA’s membership program including development of benefits and services for .au members; as well as our national event schedule. Andrew is passionate about promoting the .au as a trusted and uniquely Australian national asset.
